Self portrait

February 11, 2012

We had beautiful light outside the window so I decided to take a self portrait. If you don’t have a model around just use yourself !

I used my reflectors white side as a backdrop and my Tamron 28-75mm 2.8. (Because 75 mm is the furthest I can hold still in my hands)

The ISO was on 800 because I needed a short shutter speed since I handheld my camera (1/125) Also I got this nice high key effect.

I turned it Black and White in Photoshop using Gradient Map.

I really like the result. Just some natural light and an open lens is all you need to create a nice portrait.
