Love my Remote Control- Selfportrait

I wasn’t really planning to take those selfportraits today but on my way home I drove by this little strip of canola. Seriously it’s a small strip like 1 meter wide (yupp european measurements ) And it was gorgeous outside so I went home, grabed my camera and went back with my tripod and my remote control. I love how these turned out! Wish I had more friends living close by so I could just call them up and be like: Photoshoot in 5! Haha 🙂

Double Exposure

I felt a little creative today so I decided to play a bit in Photoshop. I’m really faszinated by all those double exposure pictures floating trough Pinterest. So I thought about using one of my New York pictures and a selfportrait and create the effect myself. You can create that effect in camera but also afterwars in post processing. If you like the pic and would like a Tutorial, I’m more than happy to create one 🙂 IMG_5514

I think it’s always fun to tell a story in your images. Those two love to read. They actually own a libray in their house and yes I’m pretty jelaous of that 😉

It’s nice to share a hooby nad it’s fun to make the engagement pictures more personal.Unbenannt-1

Rock the Shot January Photo Challenge- Favorite Shot of 2012

Here’s my favorite shot of 2012. It’s an engagement session I got to shoot from a really sweet couple with a great Story. She’s brazilian and used to be an AuPair in Connecticut. She fell in love with an American but she had to go back home because her Visa expired. After being in a long distance relationship for over a year he asked her to marry her in this State Park (Sleeping Giant State Park, CT)  while she visited him. This is real movie potential! ❤

What I like most about this image is how the river reflected the sun. It’s adds a really dreamy effect.

Kira+ Family

I had the chance to photograph this cute couples christmas card. They have this sweet Rhodesian girl named Kira. I met them actually in New York but now they moved to Frankfurt close to where I live. What are the odds! So of course we had to meet up again and we had such a fun time together. Thank you for a great night and an awesome shoot!

Watercolor Portrait

watercolor_a Kopie

Last year I took a Watercolor Class at Norwalk Community College in Connecticut. This is my first Watercolor Portrait and I’m pleased with the result. For Christmas I got a set of Watercolor paint and I’m excited to try it out. Well, after my exams in February of course. Studying keeps me very busy unfortunately.

Letztes Jahr habe ich am Norwalk Community College in Connecticut einen Aquarell Malkurs mitgemacht. Dieses ist mein erstes Aquarell Portrait. Gefaellt mir schon ganz gut.

Got to take pictures of those two lovebirds yesterday 🙂 We had such luck with the weather!

She surprised her boyfriend with a photoshoot. And as you can see he liked it!

Gestern durfte ich diese zwei Süßen fotografieren. Wir hatten solch ein Glück mit dem Wetter!

Sie überraschte ihn mit einem Fotoshooting und wie man sieht hatter er Spaß daran!
