About me

me

I’m a european photographer currently living in Germany.

I love an miss my dog Tata. (Which you can see above) She unfortunately passed away in Dexcember 2014 and I miss her everyday.

I’m also pretty much addicted to good coffee. There’s nothing much better to start a day with. I do love to travel, which made me move to America for 2 years as an AuPair and I do miss it alot.

My love for photography comes equally for my passion for the arts and my grandfather who is a photographer himself. Since I was a child I heard all his amazing stories about his work and it fascinated me.

2007 I graduated High School with Art and English as my Majors.

Right after graduating I started to study photography in a Portrait Studio in Germany and got my degree in 2010. I moved from Frankfurt, Germany to Westport, Connecticut in August 2010 as an Au pair and my Camera came along with me on this journey. I really loved living there. It was a great experience and made me grow in so many ways. As an artist and as a person. September 2012 I moved back to Germany. Now I’m located close to Frankfurt. (The one with the huge international airport)

I graduated with a BA in Media Management from Hochschule RheinMain in Wiesbaden in 2015. Right now I work as a fulltime Junior Online Marketing Manager at a software company in Frankfurt.

You can find my Portfolio here.

If you’re interested in working with me feel free to contact me. I’d love to hear from you!

  3. Hi there, Annika! Loved the Dan Woog post about you this morning, and I really admire the way you have embraced living in Westport to the fullest! If you are interested in supporting our town farm, Wakeman Town Farm, we would love to have you join us at our first annual Family Fun Day on July 14. Message me on FB if you are interested in helping out… we need a good face painter for the kids! Cheers! ~Liz

  4. Hi Annika! Just heard that you’d like to give a “mini-German lesson” in the Westport Children’s Library. Awesome! Contact me to set a date.
